THE POCKET GUIDE SERIES OF TRAINING BOOKLETS are aimed at both the large food manufacturing concern as well as the small restaurant or food business - simply because the problems are the same. They may be on a different scale yes, with the manufacturing sector working with greater quantities of food and therefore running greater risk analyses in various areas because of time and temperature abuse etc., but the small food concern, including restaurants, cafes & tearooms and home industries have exactly the same POTENTIAL to cause food poisoning outbreaks…  It doesn’t take 1000 meals, or food products, to cause a food poisoning outbreak - it takes just ONE… Download the Catalogue of these booklets st the bottom of the page…

POSTERS are always a great way to train people in an industry and this collection is no exception. They are all A3 in size (420mm x 297mm), printed in bright colours and laminated with a high micron laminate making them totally moisture proof. The range currently has 170 posters in it, being 8 sets of 20 with 10 alternatives for the GFSI Good Manufacturing Practices as not every business is the same. The posters are available individually as well.  Each set comes with a free positioning assessment which gives you feedback to prove that your staff ARE reading the posters, thereby giving you value for your money. This range will be increased to about 350 posters during 2015… see Catalogue for further details…

BECAUSE OF THE coming desperate need for professional training in every single food business across the country, and elsewhere in Africa north of us, due to the plethora of ‘suspected food poisonings’ that we can expect to start creeping out from every nook and cranny from every crooked man and his dog, due to the success of Muzak vs Canzone-del-Mare recently, training packages are being developed that suit every need in the food industry. These packages will come complete with Textbooks, Workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, Flash Cards, in some cases Playing Cards as well, Teaching Guides and a Faciliators manual. This will enable every restaurant and small food business - including Bed and Breakfast establishments, to train their own staff to an assessed level, themselves. See catalogue for further details…

SOMETIMES BOOKLETS and posters may not enough and the delegates need extra stimulus. Food Safety in South Africa has embarked on producing subject specific DVD training experiences with our first humble offering available in Personal Hygiene. This one hour long training experience does it all for you. You don’t need a trainer, only a DVD machine and a TV. There is an oral assessment on this DVD for those whose reading and writing skills are perhaps not what they should be.

Also offered is a set of playing cards that revolve around the old “SNAP” games and are focused on basic Food Hygiene. See Catalogue for details…
